Completed in 2025

Hole 6 Extension

A new long pin position was installed for Hole 6

  • Extensive tree clearing and cutting happened to make the extended fairway
  • A new ground sleeve was poured for a permanent pin position
  • Vegetation growth was cut back to open the fairway up
  • Wood chips were spread on the green and walkway to Hole 7's tee area

Steps on Holes 20/27 & 24

Steps were cut in and installed on holes 20/27 & 24

  • Hole 20/27 (Base-O-Me-Mucho): had steps cut in to the hillside leading up to the teeing area and logs installed
  • Hole 24: had steps cut in to the hillside leading up to the fairway and flag stones installed

Hole 15 XL Cleanup

The XL pin positon on hole 15 was cleaned up

  • Extensive clearing of trees and undergrowth leading to the XL pin position
  • Felled tree trunks used to line the fairway and green area
  • Wood chips spread on the green area
  • New walkway to Hole 17's tee area cut in and lined with tree trunks

Hole 14 green erosion control

The green on Hole 14 had erosion control installed

  • Two rings of boulders installed to prevent rollaways
  • Wood chips spread in the rings to create a good green around the pin

New ground sleeves

New ground sleeves installed on multiple holes across the course

  • Hole 6 long position
  • Hole 24, corrected the erosion and leaning of the previous ground sleeve
  • Hole 19/26, installed a new ground sleeve in the alternate position near the building
  • New hole, installed a permanent ground sleeve on the green near the picnic table

New tee pad

New tee pad installed to create a permanent hole

  • A previous temp-hole is now a permanent hole on the course
  • New tee pad poured near the fire ring behind the building
  • This creates a better flow to play the full course including the gorge holes

Retaining wall on hole 19

A new retaining wall was installed around the teepad of Streamline (Hole 19)

  • Retaining wall built around the tee pad
  • Drain tile and fill used to level out around the previously washed out area

Project Patio

Paver brick patio installed around the pro-shop and Hole 1 tee area

  • Custom donor bricks ordered and installed
  • Paver bricks installed around the pro-shop, Hole 1, and Hole 3 teeing area
  • Retaining wall installed to level out the patio area
  • Ongoing project: second wave of custom donor bricks being ordered and purchased, furniture and shades purchased and installed

Pro-Shop Mural

A custom mural was commissioned for the side of the Pro-Shop

  • A custom mural was collaborated on with Anton Horisnyk
  • Spray painted mural was completed June 2025

Looking ahead to 2026

Kaposia merchandise

More Kaposia branded merchandise to fundraise for the course

  • We rolled out Kaposia branded minis, stickers, velcro patches, and stamped discs in 2025
  • Expanded merchandise options are coming in 2026
  • All Kaposia branded merchandise directly funds the course maintenance fund allowing us to purchase materials needed for course work and updates

Hole 1 erosion control

Adding erosion control methods around Hole 1's green

  • The erosion around Hole 1's green is extensive, adding in retaining walls and wood chips will help control this
  • Adding in these features will also add to the aesthetics of the hole

Walkway to Hole 2 tee

Create a better walkway between Hole 1's green and Hole 2's tee area

  • Adding in erosion control to prevent wash out
  • Cutting in steps to make the walk to the tee area easier
  • Adding to the aesthetic of the area
